Parents, just a reminder that if you want to do a drop in on the day time sessions. Please email me as I need to do that separately and invoice you on my end. Don't use your current 4 or 6 session plans please.

Parents, I will be doing small group sessions during spring break during the day. These will be different then the evening ones. They will be for 1.5 hours and also at a discounted rate. If you are interested, please sign up starting 2/23/2026. I am opening this up to my GK's 1st, before posting online. Spots are limited to 6 GK's each day.

Apologies for the chaotic schedule. My son's band is in full swing and has concerts. Should settle down after 1st week of March. If there are issues with plans and using sessions, please just reach out.
All, it was great seeing all the J4GK goalkeepers on the zoom last night. Heard some great answers and I hope they enjoyed and see the benefit of attending these. Having that classroom type session that helps with their cognitive training is crucial in their development.
After most Zoom sessions, a list of questions are sent out for the Goalkeepers to answer. Those that attended, please be vigilant in doing these.
TOPIC: GK’s Responsibility when In Possession of the Ball
QUESTIONS TO ASK YOUR GKs:
- Define the GK’s role and positioning when the team is In Possession of the ball in each 1/3 of the field?
- What are the GK’s priorities when distributing to teammates? Can they break lines? Why is that important?
- what is a GK’s Leadership role when In Possession? What can GKs do to lead when In Possession?
- Is there Psychological Pressure on a GK when the team is In Possession of the ball? Is pressure ⬆️ or ⬇️ when compared to 1) OP, 2) a transitional moment 3) defending a free kick?
